2. Legislation

We process personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), No. 4 of 2013, the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA), No. 2 of 2000, and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), No. 25 of 2002.

3. What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to respond to an enquiry or deliver a contract:

• Contact details you submit (name, company, email, phone) via the quote / tender enquiry form.
• The scope-of-works description and any tender or RFQ documents you attach.
• Basic, anonymised website usage data (pages viewed, referrer) collected without cookies through a privacy-respecting analytics service.

We do not collect special personal information (as defined in POPIA) unless you voluntarily provide it and consent to its processing.

4. Why we process it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote or tender submission.
• To perform and administer a contract where one is awarded.
• To comply with statutory and contractual obligations (tax, CIDB, COIDA, CSD).
• To improve the website and understand which content serves visitors.

Processing is based on your consent (form submission), the performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the business, within the limits of POPIA.

6. Sharing and cross-border transfer

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to operate the site and respond to you — for example, our email-delivery provider (to route your enquiry) and our DNS/hosting provider.
